Fang Fengfu is also Adviser to the Beijing Yuan Ming-Yuan Institute,
Director of the Hong Kong international Traditional Chinese Painting
Exchange Association, Art Reviewer of Xinhua News Publishing House of Hong
Kong, and Director of the Artist Association of Chongqing. Professor
Fang`s works "Geniality in the Lotus Pond after Rain" won him
the International Artists Bronze Prize in 1 993, "Brilliant
Autumn Scenery" won the Third Prize of the Silver River Cup at
the international Painting and Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Contest in
1992 as well as the international Silver Prize at the Third international
Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition in Japan in 1 995. He was awarded the
title of international Bronze Prize Artist in 1993. In recent years,
FengFu Fang has published over twenty research papers, books and other
works including `'Fang Fengfu Painting Collection'', 1992, ''How to Paint
Wistaria sinensis'', 1994, ''Technique of Freehand Brushwork in
Traditional Chinese Painting of Birds&Flowers`', 1995, ',Discussion on
the Feeling of Music in Panting``, 1990, ',Brief Talk on Chinese
Traditional Painting Creation`', 1995, `'On the Artistic Conception of
Birds&Flowers Painting,, 1995. His works have been exhibited in
various countries including America, Japan, Canada, Romania, Thailand,
Hong Kong, and Taiwan, and include "Brilliant
Autumn Scenery", "The Smell of Spring", "Charming
Autumn,", "Mountain Flowers", "Rain Dew",
"Dewy Jade Ball.", "Clusters of Rich Fruits", and
"White Grapes". Fengfu Fang's works
have been included in collections of the leaders of China, and are also
held in the Great Hall of the People, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, the
Rostrurn of Tian An Men, Zhong Nan Hai, the State Council, Zi Guang-Ge,
and other important paces. |
